The study of a rich Middle Oxfordian arnrnonite succession from Kachchh CW India) supplies new evidence to support the open biogeographic connections between Submediterranean and lndo - East-African Provinces. studied assemblage is precisely dated as Upper Transversarium Zone, (Middle Oxfordian), on basis representatives Perisphinctes Larche­ria , this finding being first record West-European form India. dating further strenghtened by occuJTence tethyan Gregoryceras .
